Frequently asked

Questions, answered.

Everything you might want to know about Goal Cue before launch — inflation-aware goals, pacing, privacy, and how Stripe sync stays on your device.

What is Goal Cue?

Goal Cue is an iPhone app that sets a yearly income goal that automatically rises with inflation, then shows your real-time pace — where you are, where you should be by now, and what it takes to stay on track for the rest of the year.

Who is Goal Cue built for?

Goal Cue is built for freelancers, gig workers, and 1099 contractors hitting annual quotas; salaried professionals tracking raises against inflation; founders monitoring personal income or ARR; and anyone whose yearly goal should keep pace with the cost of living.

How does Goal Cue make goals inflation-aware?

Goal Cue uses official inflation data — including CPI, ECB, and BLS figures — to lift your annual target so it preserves real buying power instead of quietly losing value year over year.

How often does Goal Cue check in with me?

You choose the cadence: Daily, Weekly, Bi-weekly, or Custom. Each check-in shows where you should be by now, what you have earned, and the pace needed from here.

Does Goal Cue support multiple currencies?

Yes. Goal Cue supports multi-currency tracking with locale-aware formatting, so your goal and earnings always read in the currency that matches how you work.

Is Goal Cue available on the App Store yet?

Goal Cue is currently prelaunch. The iPhone app is in place and the App Store listing will be published soon. Visit the launch-status page for the latest update.

Do I need to connect Stripe to use Goal Cue?

No. Goal Cue works fully with manual earnings entry. Optional read-only Stripe sync only adds automatic earnings totals — your restricted Stripe key stays on your device.

Does Goal Cue keep my income data private?

Yes. Earnings data and your Stripe key stay on your device. Optional iCloud backup only covers your goal, reminders, currency, and inflation settings. There are no analytics on your numbers and no third-party trackers.

Do I need to create an account?

No account is required to start tracking. Sign-in is only used to restore legacy subscriptions when needed.
