Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Goal Cue ("Goal Cue," "we," "our," or "us") processes personal information when you use our iOS app, website, and related services.

Information We Process

Depending on how you use Goal Cue, we may process the following categories of information:

  • App subscription information, including subscription status, plan, renewal period, and App Store transaction identifiers needed to validate access
  • Reminder delivery information, including pseudonymous installation identifiers, notification authorization state, reminder schedules, device tokens, and push-delivery state when you enable reminder sync
  • Suggestion submission and support information, including the message contents and contact details you choose to send us
  • Restore workflow information, including the email address, challenge metadata, and verification state used if Goal Cue offers an eligible restore-email flow
  • Technical, analytics, and diagnostic information, such as pseudonymous installation identifiers, app version/build, OS version, locale, product interaction events, crash data, and performance data
  • Website analytics information, such as page views and session-level event activity

Goal and earnings records are intended to remain on your device. Read-only Stripe credentials you enter in the app are stored on-device and are not transmitted to Goal Cue servers. If you enable settings backup, selected settings such as your goal, reminders, currency, and inflation preferences may be stored with your Apple iCloud account.

How We Use Information

  • Provide, maintain, and secure the app and backend services
  • Verify App Store subscriptions, restore eligible access, and keep subscription state in sync
  • Operate reminder push scheduling, device registration, and delivery freshness
  • Review and respond to suggestions, support requests, and restore verification requests
  • Operate pseudonymous analytics and diagnostics to measure product performance, reliability, and abuse
  • Respond to support and product feedback requests
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized use
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

How Information Is Shared

We share information only as needed to operate the service, including with:

  • Apple to process App Store subscriptions, renewals, restores, and optional iCloud settings backup
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers that run our website and backend APIs
  • Analytics and diagnostics providers used for product telemetry, crash reporting, and error monitoring
  • Communication providers used to route suggestion and restore-email messages when those features are used
  • Stripe only if you choose to connect its read-only sync integration inside the app
  • Authorities or other parties when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or security

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use third-party tracking for cross-app advertising.

Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide the service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, meet legal obligations, and maintain security and service integrity.

Retention periods vary by data type. For example, subscription and transaction records may be retained for accounting and legal requirements, while analytics and diagnostic records are retained according to operational needs.

  • You can cancel App Store subscriptions in your Apple account settings
  • You can choose whether to enable iCloud settings backup inside the app
  • You can enable or disable reminders and their related push registration from within Goal Cue
